About Team RDS Runners Coach – Seth Kopf Kopf Running_Seth Running Marathon - 5.2013

Coach Seth is the owner of Kopf Running, an endurance coaching company based in the Chicago area. He is a certified running coach through USA Track & Field and the Road Runner’s Club of America. Seth creates programs personalized to each individual runner, and the programs are easy to follow – for both the beginner and experienced runner.

Coach Seth has run numerous marathons, including 7 Bank of America Chicago Marathons. “I’m extremely excited to work with Research Down Syndrome and Team RDS. I really enjoy working with newer runners and charity runners because they tend to be more willing to follow a training program and to ask for advice. When looked at as a whole, the training for a marathon can become overwhelming. I like a simplistic approach – one day at a time, one foot in front of the other until you reach the finish line.”

Coach Seth will work with each team member to create a personalized plan, no matter if you are participating in your very first marathon or if you are attempting to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon.
